Sergei Guriev

Economist

Sergey Maratovich Guriyev is a Russian economist living in France. He is a professor of economics at the Instituts d'études politiques in Paris (Sciences Po).

Between 2016 and 2019, Guriev was the chief economist at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development  (EBRD). Before he fled in April 2013 to France for political reasons, Guriev was a Morgan Stanley Professor of Economics and a Rector at the New Economic School (NES) in Moscow.
