Literary scholar

Ksenia Robbe is an Assistant Professor of Russian, African and Comparative Literature at the University of Leiden.

She is the author of Conversations of Motherhood: South African Women Writing Across Traditions (UKZN, 2015) and co-editor (with Otto Boele and Boris Noordenbos) of Post-Soviet Nostalgia: Confronting Empire’s Legacies (Routledge, forthcoming 2019). Her current research engages the practices and politics of memory in post-Soviet and post-apartheid societies.
